A Gentleman of Paris (1927)

This specimen looks like he just walked off the film set of A Gentleman in Paris by Harry d’Abbadie d’Arrast. I see power! I see pride! From the words of those who saw him:

“A gentleman and a scholar, this fine noble beast skips and hops along with his Master with elegance and grace, his finely tufted jowls, mane, and…hairy legs… billowing gracefully with every strut. Never walking behind, he walks beside his Master with his head held proudly high, but never too big or too busy, as you see here, to grace us with his picture.”
